Dodici, a renowned luxury fashion brand based in Milan, Italy, has partnered with us to ensure a smooth migration to the NewStore platform. As part of this transition, the VP of Retail has outlined key requirements focused on enhancing the in-store experience and operational efficiency:

  • Manage store inventory directly within NewStore

  • Accept returns and accurately track inventory movement

To meet these needs, we’ll implement and configure the returns and exchanges functionality within the NewStore platform, ensuring a seamless, customer-focused experience that aligns with Dodici’s luxury brand standards.


Inventory accuracy is essential for retailers who go full omni and allow their customers to pick up orders from store and fulfil orders from stores as well. The higher the inventory accuracy, the lower is the chance that items are mispicked or that the order has to be cancelled due to no inventory.

This module focuses on the basics of store inventory management using NewStore to manage the store . After completing this module you will be able to:

  • switch on Stock on hand management for a store in NewStore

  • import a full stock count for a store into NewStore

  • setup virtual stock locations

  • create a return process configuration to handle Returns for damaged items

  • setup  reasons

  • review inventory audit logs

Success criteria

The user will be able to perform the following testing scenarios:

  • Return for at least one item with the item condition damaged

  • The returned items have been booked into the virtual location damaged

An inventory audit log has been created for the items in the store in the main and damaged location which contains the above transactions
