This page describes how to use the Routing Simulator in Omnichannel manager to understand how routing works in your business. The simulator uses sample orders and availability data to showcase routing configurations.

This feature is available for Early Access from July 2, 2026. Contact your Customer Success Manager to join the Early Access program.
Important
This routing simulator can only be used to test routing. Any changes made here does not change your fulfillment configuration, availability data, or any other settings. No orders can be placed via the simulator.
To start simulating your routing configuration:
In the
Fulfillment Configarea, select the route from theSelect a routedrop-down menu.For example,
Country: DE / Region: *, which denotes fulfilment across all regions in Germany for your business.Review the
Routestable for the selected route.Each service level is mapped to a location group. For example,
SAME_DAY_DELIVERY_DEis mapped toDE02,BER_POTSand other locations (specified in theLocation Groupsarea).Review the
Location Groupsto validate which fulfillment nodes (stores or warehouses) belong to each location group.In the
Cartarea, select the products from the drop-down menu and confirm the items in the sample order.In the
ATParea, set inventory quantities for each fulfillment location for the items you would like to use for simulating the order. You can also keep some quantities as 0 to see if the re-routing of the order works correctly when stock exists in another fulfillment location.In the
Location Groupsarea, add a fulfillment location as thePreferredfulfillment location for a specific service level, to influence routing priority when routing the order.Click
Simulate Order.The order is now routed and the results are displayed in
Routing Results.Review
Routing Resultsto check which fulfillment location(s) and service level(s) were used to route and fulfill the order items. Also validate if the configured ATP and preferred fulfillment locations were used correctly when routing the order.
