Retailers can enable manual discounts to address customer complaints and provide a personalized resolution. This feature can be applied at the order or item level and is commonly used in scenarios such as:
Damaged products
Employee discounts
Additionally, users can override the item-level price for specific products. Retailers can choose to enable manual discounts and price overrides with either predefined reason codes or free-form text, providing flexibility and accountability.
To enable Manual discount and price override, configure the following values in the cart_management_v2 in Associate App Config:
