# Test Push Notifications using Studio

Before launching Push Notifications campaign to all users, you can test it using NewStore Studio. This article helps to have the correct Shopping App and Studio setup.

### Set up your device

1. Open Shopping App.
2. Go to `Account` > log in or create an account.
3. Go to `Account` > `Settings` > enable `Notification settings` toggle (set to immediate delivery).
4. Go to `Account` > `Settings` > acknowledge `Country` the storefront (combination of country and language) your app is set to.
5. Close the app and ensure do not disturb or similar modes are turned off, as they can block push notifications.

### Send a test push notification via Studio

1. Open Studio > `Notifications Manager`.
2. Create a push notification (use any option):
  1. Create a new notification by clicking the `New notification` button.
  2. Duplicate a scheduled notification by clicking the three-dots button > `Duplicate`.
  3. Reuse a sent notification by clicking `Reuse` button.
3. Review or fill in the details
  1. Select the same language and storefront as in the app. Other combinations may also work depending on your app setup.
  2. Select any content for the notification.
  3. Specify title and message.
  4. Scheduling is not mandatory for testing.
4. Use the test push notification functionality.
  1. Go to `Send` > click `Test your Notification`.
  2. Specify the email. This **must be** the same email address used to log in to the app.
  3. Click the `Send test` button
5. Check the notification on your device. It might take a few minutes to receive the notification.

### Troubleshooting

If you do not receive the test push notification, delete the app, install the app as new, and repeat the steps above.
