In general, NewStore recommends updating the [iOS version](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201222) within 3 months of its release. NewStore **only** provides support for the latest app version released. For details on Associate App release versions, see the [release notes](/v1/docs/app-updates#releasenotes-apps). For an optimal experience with the app, we recommend upgrading to iOS 26. ## NewStore Omnichannel Manager - Browser compatibility NewStore recommends using Omnichannel Manager on Google Chrome for an optimal user experience. If Google Chrome is not available, Omnichannel Manager can also be used on Safari or Firefox, but some features may not work as expected. ## Hardware support This section lists the hardware supported on Associate App. This list is reviewed and updated within 3 months of each annual Apple Presentation, where new devices are presented. NewStore supports devices which are compatible with the iOS versions that we support. NewStore will stop support for these device models completely from iOS 28 and later. NewStore Associate App always prompts the user to close the drawer to complete a cash drawer-related transaction. - You can also use non-APG cash drawers via NewStore Associate App that are not integrated with NewStore. However, we recommend validating any printer models not specifically mentioned in this table. NewStore supports any printer that supports the standard AirPrint iOS protocol. To ensure continued MPoC compliance, iOS versions are supported up to a year after the release date of the iOS major, minor, or patch version. NewStore Payments leverages the Stripe payment platform for Tap to Pay on iPhone capability.
